This is a very nice charging machine. It’s nice that it works with USB, though I don’t think it came with a charging thing to plug into the wall. As far as I know it was just the USB cord they came with the device rather than having the plug that goes into the wall as well… so I had to find a plug elsewhere in my house, to plug it in. I only have two of those plugs for USB to connect to the power outlet… the problem at this point is that I have too many things that I need to be plugged into those little things because I haven’t been getting a USB port plug with too many things it. I mean, there are too many places selling things that plug-in with USB, but are not sending the plug that you need to plug it into the wall.I was surprised to not get one with this, but the machine is great because you can charge just one battery. Not that I charge one battery with it. But one time one battery didn’t charge at all. So I tried to charge it by itself, it didn’t work.I didn’t plan on getting these to replace the one that didn’t charge… the other one that didn’t charge, it worked up until I plugged it into this and then since it wouldn’t charge by itself, if I threw it out.So it seems I got this to at the exact time to replace that one battery that I ended up throwing out, but had it charged I wouldn’t have thrown it out.It was just a coincidence that one battery out of my previous four stopped working.Maybe it worked so hard that when it saw these ones come in, it let itself die because it saw that there were finally replacements.I was sad to see one of the batteries die that I used for my Xbox controllers…So now I have three of the 4 Amazon brand ones that I previously had… as soon as it saw these to replace it, it chose to die.I did have something else to say about these, but it’s a joke, and people will probably not understand. Or people will understand and say bad stuff because they don’t understand it’s a joke. So I’m not going to be joking about these. They work well.I expected them to last a little longer in my Xbox controller than the previous ones… but after just one charge I don’t expect them to work at full capacity.I’ve heard that you kind of have to work rechargeable batteries in a little bit for them to hit their peak.These are the 2800s and the ones I had were 2300s. These lasted about the same amount of time, but like I said, they need to be charged a couple more times before they’re gonna be acting at their full capacity.It’s like they’re maturing into perfection.I don’t think I have anything to charge one battery, but when I plugged in 2 of the older battery is only one charged… I could see that it wasn’t charging it all because of the cool feature of seeing how much batteries are charged. So clearly they are good at identifying batteries that no longer work.I didn’t have a funeral for the old battery… it happened so suddenly that I was numb.It’s also sad when the best part of your purchase from Amazon is the batteries and a charger…. They are definitely far from the coolest thing I ordered…. But they are the only thing that worked perfectly in my order.So if you have any old batteries that are seeming not very good, you can at least try and charge it by itself ( it is very good for identifying batteries that don’t work) and if you have more time with your batteries than I did when I realized it was literally dead… plan a funeral for it. I mean mine got to play Xbox with me it’s whole life!! I feel like I discarded part of the family when I threw out the old battery… I saw these new black ones, and when I realized the other battery was dead I just threw it out . Yes I let out a weird noise like “Oh no!! NO NO NO NO… you can’t be dead !! I’ll try to charge you by yourself !!!”. Then later I was like “You son of a gun!! We had a lot of good times together, but you chose to quit on me when I needed you the most… just kidding. I got a replacement because you were getting old… I was just still hoping we had more time together. I was still gonna plug you in and play more games with you, I swear!!”… I cried for probably an hour, and then I said “ we played a lot, but there’s no amount of playing Xbox with you that I would regret! I didn’t get these to replace you! You just allowed them to… but it’s not your fault… everybody dies someday! But why did you have to go now?! I was gonna play more NHL with you!! But now you have to be disposed of. Don’t worry, I won’t just throw you in the garbage like normal trash!!! I will take care of you to the end… which is the proper area designated by my city for items, you shouldn’t throw directly in the trash… like batteries!! But you were more than just a battery… you were a silent friend that always played video games with me whenever I wanted! You never asked me to play once, but you were always ready for me to ask you if you were ready to play. You will be missed!! I will miss you a little less though, because I have a new charger and batteries I just bought… they couldn’t replace you!! We had many good times together, I mean you kept dying at the wrong time. I know you didn’t like playing Rocket Leafue that much, but you sure did love NHL24 and NHL 25. I know I’m not that good at it, but you’re constant positive charge kept me going until you could no longer go yourself. You may be getting replaced, but that wasn’t the idea. I was hoping that you and my new batteries would all be able to play much longer and while I’m sleeping, you could tell each other how you did and what we played. I know your life is like a toy story kind of deal… I understand you guys only looking stuff when I’m not watching. But I knew the whole time! I just had to wait until you were gone to make sure you didn’t find out. Now that I’m talking to your spirit and I’m using voice to text. Not only do the new batteries feel honoured to take your spot…. They’re also afraid of dying now!! I’m sorry!!! You weren’t supposed to hear!! Sorry that was for the ones listening in. You will be missed!! I won’t shed any tears for you though… I’ll save those for my dead cats. Remember, it’s not about the amount of tears that didn’t fall for you, but it’s about the good times we had without tears. That’s how I wanted it to stay between us. No tears. You made it your whole life and never saw me cry for you. I know you couldn’t see me in the controller, but I know you heard me crying about my cats. Please don’t share any of the secrets with other batteries that have moved on to the… ummmm electronics cemetery, I guess?! You may be dead, but the memories we made together will be there until I get senile and forget. I know you didn’t get a funeral… I would’ve been the only one there. I mean, if there’s nobody there to see me cry… did I even cry at all?! So if there was nobody else going to your celebration of life, I would’ve just been more upset being there by myself. Andy would’ve been there!!! I know that you stopped working so many times while we played with Andy… but he lives in the UK. It’s just not economically viable for him to come here just for the funeral of one of the best supporting characters of my Xbox controllers’ lives.We both saw an Xbox controller die together, I know you were sad… but you were SO happy to be put in to a nice fresh controller. I only had you a couple short years… I’d like to say they were the best of my life, but that would be a lie, and I’m not a liar. I will continue to be sad, but tears will only be for my cats, you know how it is! As I said, you will be missed, but only by me, to me your whole life was fun, but when I wasn’t playing with you, my life was not fun. You helped keep me from falling off the deep end into bricks at the bottom because it’s not actually a pool, it was certainly not a diving board like you see at the fair, I shouldn’t have told the other people to jump from there. I thought it was a pool. It turned out that it was only a pool of all the things I told to jump… I mean, I know I threw you off of there… it’s OK that’ll be our secret… you didn’t have legs. How could you jump? Your body is in a safe place, that’s what they assured me at that place that I had to bring you instead of throwing you directly into the garbage. Also, you know I was sad that you have to be replaced… that’s not why I bought these. I got these to add to our fun because I was always changing them, and you would’ve been in the rotation with them… and even though the number on you is less than the number on these new ones… you still worked a little longer than they did on the first charge, and now the second charge, we will see how long it will last… I just won’t have you there to fall back on. I’ll just have to be much more diligent on keeping the rest of your family, safe and happy in my Xbox controllers, and I promise I will not use those batteries for anything but! Toodaloo my dude!!”. So now that it can’t hear, because it’s not here anymore… like I said, I’ve instilled the fear of death into my new batteries, but I hope they know that they will make it so I can be all mad at us being slaughtered in NHL25 … but at least we’ll lose together… like me and Ole Greeny did.now I don’t know what to do with the surviving single green battery.I suppose I’ll probably wait for one of the other ones to stop charging up again. I guess it’s a guessing game which one of you is gonna go first… especially with me using the new batteries inside of the Xbox controller so that we can have fun losing at NHL25 together. The batteries and I… not Andy and I . He doesn’t have much fun when we are losing… but I do.These batteries and charger are a great way to replace the older batteries as they die. It’s the lifecycle of batteries. Why do people live so much longer than their batteries? It’s just not fair!!!The price for these is very fair though… unlike all those penalties that should’ve been called in NHL 25. As red green would say “Keep your thumbstick on the ice!!”.If you enjoyed this review, I really do suggest these batteries and charger. They work very well. I’m not getting paid to save this, but it would be nice. I mean, I wouldn’t mind taking some money to do reviews… but like I said, I’m not a liar.If something sucks, I’m gonna say so.Batteries may come and go… they don’t die too quickly, but I hope their whole lives for everybody is playing video games, just don’t rage quit or throw your controller.Control yourself and don’t be a battery batterer. Also be kind to your controllers, if you throw them… just remember until you threw it. There was a happy little battery in there… they’re not little batteries, they are AA. The small batteries are triple AAA. It’s gonna be really hard when one of the AAA’s go. I don’t have any use for just one battery and I can’t put it with any of the surviving three batteries.I guess at some point I will be losing many more friends over the years. The best of friends. The battery bunch!!Even though I may not seem cool, the battery bunch let me in on being cool with them. So now that one is gone, I only have three of them to fight my fight for me. Hopefully by the time those three die… the new ones I got well hopefully last forever… I’m not sure how many batteries I can allow to die before I succumb to old age. When I get super old, I will pray to be so senile that I will feel like I’m with my old batteries when I’m playing Xbox ♾️ (I’m not sure if there’s an infinity symbol there but it’s supposed to be) with all of them at once.At this point, I know I can only play with two batteries at a time… but when I’m old and senile, I will feel like I’m playing with them all at the same time because I won’t know how to differentiate between the memories of me playing an NHL game from NHL 96 to NHL 25…. It will be like I’m playing them all at the same time with all the batteries I’ve ever used in my Xbox controllers.Maybe someday I will be good at NHL but by that point I will probably be senile, and think that I’m winning even though I’m not even playing NHL.Maybe there will be invisible batteries, if you can’t see their eyes, are they even looking?That’s something for me to figure out in a different review or something else.
