The old single-click type of igniter often required several clicks to light. But this one continues to provide sparks as long as the button is pressed. Works very well. After removing the old igniter, the hole had to be slightly enlarged, but then was easy to install. Make sure to lightly sand the underside of the area around the hole so that the ground contact is made. The bottom of my grill was highly corroded with parts missing, so I added a small piece (about 4 x 6") of sheet steel to mount the spark electrode, and laid that sheet so the electrode tip was about 1 inch from the burner. Works great.
