These batteries are excellent for certain kinds of devices and well-suited for uses where battery longevity under high-drain conditions is needed.For example, I have a couple of battery-powered carbon monoxide/smoke alarms in a stairwell and kitchen that does not have power nearby. So I use battery-powered detectors. With brand-new Duracell Alkaline batteries, I have to change the two AA that these alarms use every 2 to 3 weeks max. Without fail!However, with these Lithium batteries, I can easily go 2 to 3 months between changes. So, the net cost is cheaper, and the convenience of not having these alarms start talking about battery replacement too soon (and for some reason, they always happen at night!!) is well worth it.Highly recommended, and I have direct comparison proof of these versus good alkaline's for superior longevity.
