After only a few seconds of heating to solder wires to the solder-tail tabs, the plastic housing melted all around the tab. The terminal nearly fell out, and only by holding the terminal in place while the plastic cooled again was I able to recover use of this battery holder. I still had to scrape a bunch of melted plastic off the inner face of the terminal so the battery would make contact.Very cheap poor quality product. Avoid it.When I read the description I expected to have the holder fitted with a 9 V snap connector. This is not the case. If you look closely at the picture and blow it up you will see that this device as solder connectors. That is in fact what was delivered. I talked to the company and they were very cordial and processed and immediate refund when I pointed out the discrepancy.Basically, it was the part I was looking for, and there were no modifications needed in order to fit the device it was intended for.good
