Today I opened one (1-day past the 30-day return date, of course) and it leaves big pieces of toner at the edge of every page. Not only did a couple of hundred letterheads get ruined by it before I noticed, but it's a weekend and I'm left high-and-dry. Blake Printing Supply has really let me down. They have the most expensive 3rd-party toner here and after trying 20+ of them, I can no longer say they are worth it. I NO LONGER RECOMMEND.First review: These cheap toners are hit and miss. I've probably ordered 30+ of them. Sometimes they are terrible, but the return policy covers me. This particular one worked perfectly for about the first 1000 impressions and then started to fail. Compared to the price of the factory toner, 1000 perfect prints really is pretty good.1st update: I got a second cartridge from Blake Printing Supply. It is about twice the price of the others ($30 v. $15), but it is significantly better. In fact I think I have to say that it is really quite good. I'm raising the star rating to 4 stars (I'll raise it to 5 if the cartridge keeps printing until the toner is spent). Again, compared to the price of the factory toner, this is amazing. The extra $15 is well worth it to me, and I'll continue to order from Blake Printing Supply.2nd update: Okay, I'm on my fourth cartridge from Blake Printing Supply. I'm impressed and raised the stars to 5. Each cartridge has printed flawlessly all the way through to the toner being used up. I don't think I've ever had that happen even once with the other 3rd party cartridges. Since I first posted, they raised the price to $39.99, up $10...apparently they know they have a good product too.It cost too much but it is worth it since the printer is so fast. I always worry that the printer will break leaving an expensive toner cartridge not used. ( the cartridge costs more than the printer. ( of course the printer was used when I bought it)). Sure is neat to print a page a second.The toner cartridge that was delivered to me is a defective one. I would give no stars if I could. I needed a new cartridge for a special project. After inserting this new cartridge in the Canon printer/copier, I printed out the document I needed. Was shocked to see that each page had horizontal dark ink lines in several locations on each page. I tried it again; same result. I cleaned the copier of any ink that might be on the inside of the printer/copier. Tried printing again; same result. I printed another unrelated document. It came out the same with black ink lines all across the page. I reinserted the older, former cartridge that I still had nearby. The ink was fainter because that cartridge was nearly empty, but the printed words were printed clearly and with no dark ink lines across the page. That is how I know that the cartridge is defective and of poor quality. It is not of the quality that real Canon toner cartridges are. I am very disappointed, and I really hesitate to order anything else from Amazon.Bought this the beginning of April, shortly after our office moved. Took the UNOPENED box down off the shelf and put it in the printer. No matter what we did, the printer keeps telling us to "change printer toner". No kidding! That's what we did, but this cartridge is NO GOOD. Tried customer support and was told the "return window" had closed. Nice. That's $160+ we might as well of flushed down the toilet.I have purchased these toners a few times in the past year, and it was working fine until now. I have never really calculated the actual yield, so I am not qualified to comment on that. With my current toner cartridge, I have been experiencing a repeat smudge on the left side of the paper. I have cleaned my Canon as best as I can, but the smudge will not go. When I tried my previous cartridge, also from same vendor, there is no such smudge, leading me to believe this unit is a defective one. I've had to put up with it and looking at other suppliers.If I find something better and cost effective, I will post accordingly.Sólo tengo que decir que se los súper recomiendo, te dan un trato inmejorable, el mejor precio, sí te facturan, te contestan todas tus dudas o solicitudes muy rápido.
