Worked fine back in 2021 used it once inside home but could not go to range to verify, Now a year later went to the range and found out the Allen head screws inside holding laser came loose inside the cartridge. So it wobbles while also shining on the rifling of the barrel. So no laser dot shone outside rifle barrel, Went home repaired the bore sight.Used a ruler with a pencil groove down the middle taped to a board with a 1/8th inch dot on another board at end of ruler just a few minutes later had it reset to zero and all 4 hex head screws tightened again, went back to range and wasnt perfect but close enough to work well without wasting excess ammo.thank youMoney well spent. This little boresight really surprised me. Was not expecting too much because it is so small and I haven’t had the best luck with this type of bore sight before. It came very well packaged in a nice little case. And to my surprise they included nine batteries. The engraving on the site was a nice touch. Great attention to detail. I have a little trick that I do where I get the site and I put it in the drill, face it against the wall to check to see if it is centric. To my surprise this little red dot did not move from the same spot. I put it in my rifle as well with my scope that was already sighted and the start was dead on. Lock up in the chamber was nice and tight and came out just fine. What else can I say but great job on this product!WARNING: DO NOT LET THE BOLT SLIDE FORWARD. Risk of jamming this into the chamber. Suggest using an empty magazine to hold the bolt back. The sight seems to do it's job but it got jammed when the bolt slipped forward. Had to hammer it out with a rod.Even though the bore sight is fully seated in chamber it will not let the blot close, makes it extremely hard to get good sight with the bolt handle in the way. Other than that, works ok.Only works at night. Couldn't see the dot past 5 yards in the shade during the day.with the price of ammo, how could you not want to get more accurate, quickly and easily without even shooting? This is a great product at a reasonable price to make that happen! It comes with 3 sets of batteries, is easy to use and gets you very close to the target area. I threw it in the gun and was dialed in within minutes. Shot a few times to ensure consistency and boom, I am ready to hit the woods. Great product for pre-season site checks and for travel. Compact and perfect for keeping in your gun case or even your car...just make sure you don't leave it in the gun when it's time to shoot! :)perfectly does what it supposed to! Great find!
