The Storacell Battery Caddy solves the problem of how to conveniently store your batteries in a compact and easy to find holder. Originally designed for pilots, the Battery Caddy is also great for photography, camping, travel or home use. The Battery Caddy is durable and break resistant and the slim and lightweight design makes it portable. There are no sharp edges to catch on clothing or bags. Storacell's patented locking system snaps batteries into place; batteries snap into place and remove easily. When ready to use, simply push the battery out with your thumb. Keep fresh batteries separate from used batteries by turning them in opposite directions. The Storacell Battery Caddy provides the best terminal protection at both ends. Batteries left rolling around in a drawer, bag or container have the potential to cause a fire. 9V batteries can be a hazard if the double terminal comes in contact with metal objects; an electrical spark can be created causing a fire. The Battery Caddy is great for a variety of uses including outdoor activities, photography bags, emergency kits, by emergency responders and for home organization. Batteries not included.

I wanted something to hold batteries in my "electronics" ditty bag in our teardrop trailer, where storage space is always at a premium. I used to keep my batteries separated by size in small ziploc bags but I've been on the lookout for a heavier-duty plastic version. The exceed my exceptions - heavy duty, nice molding, batteries slide in and out easily, terminal ends are protected and made in the USA. We use AAA batteries the most (old mp3 player, flashlights, etc) but batteries always seem to run out when we're boondocking so I ended up buying holders for AA (personal fans), C (bug zapper), D (lantern), and 9-volt (weather radio). I also bought another set for our battery drawer.Loose batteries can discharge easily when the poles make contact and retail packaging is too bulky. Those lil plastic boxes are cumbersome, the lids don't stay closed, and they crack easily. These Storacell battery holders are perfect. I love how the batteries lock into place and the holder protects the poles from touching anything. I have these things stashed all over the place. I put them everywhere that I routinely use batteries: D-size for the lantern batteries in the camping gear, AAA-size in my range bag for electronic ear-pro, AA-size in my Jeep for various gadgets. If there's a better solution, I'd love to see it, but I've been using these for years and nothing better seems to exist. This style and brand of battery storage sure beasts the clamshells used by the battery makers or any box a consumer might use.I got tired of having loose batteries floating around in our junk drawer and searched Amazon for a solution. I love Amazon because they carry just about everything, and the few times when I've had a problem, they have always resolved it to my satisfaction. The box type organizers seem like a good idea, but they occupy a lot of space, don't hold enough AA's, or hold too many of the sizes I don't need. Some include a battery tester, though its accuracy is questionable. I don't think I need a battery tester if I can keep track of new versus used. Besides, I already own a volt meter and can use it if needed. Then I found these. They are more expensive, and so I was hesitant to buy them. I searched for a suitable alternative and couldn't find anything that would meet my needs as well as these. I ordered these and have been very pleased with my decision.I bought as many of each type as I needed, and now all my batteries are protected and easy to access. The batteries are locked into the holder and won't fall out, but are still easily removed. Batteries can be inserted in either direction, making it easy to keep track of the ones that have been used but are still good, or in the case of rechargeables, tracking charged vs discharged. They come in several different colors, which you can use to indicate something like battery chemistry. It would be nice if holders of the same size could be assembled, rather than being separate. That would make this the perfect battery organizer, in my opinion. These are great for storing batteries, I have one or several for each size now. They keep everything nice and neat easy to find in a drawer. I like the fact that the batteries are not rolling around in a drawer touching each other, which is a hazard. I just wished they would come in a six or eight pack size.I bought these in 3 different sizes. I had lots of batteries and at first I looked at some carrying cases that were nice, more expensive and they focused more on small sizes. I had lots of D and the most those cases had were 8. Very happy to have found these as I got the variety of sizes that I needed and used different colors for different sizes and have them stored in a plastic shoe box. It's very easy to see what you have. These ingenious 'gadgets' hold batteries in groups, ready to use and easy to find. Insertion and extraction of batteries is a breeze. The 'battery caddies' are well engineered, well made, durable and are one of those things that you never thought you needed.I love these things. We use battery operated fans for summer camp and these keep all the extra batteries from getting lost if the bottom of a trunk. I also use the AAA ones for carrying extra batteries for my headlamp.Muy practico y ayuda a organizar las pilasUtilidad y Calidad alta
