Very good product! Slightly smaller than a regular 9 volt and fits better in my guitar pre amp. It will pay for itself after the first 2 charges.Batteries are a little tricky to insert but it's a great charger. RecommendedOf course you have to buy rechargeable batteries but with this product they will last for years. The best feature is that the batteries charge very quickly. I had an older one that sometimes take 12 or more hours to recharge. Highly recommended and EXCELLENT customer service.I play guitar a great deal and to save money, I use rechargeable 9v batteries. This one seems to do well maintaining a charge.Purchased for the use of a Tens unit, they are long lastingI have a bunch of gadgets that run on batteries. Didn't want to keep buying disposable batteries so I opted for this. Only problems with the charger are that is has some pretty audible cool whine and it doesn't have a wall mount option. Neither of which are deal breakers, but thought I should let people know before buying.Has a weird high pitch humming noise when charging.Excellent value for money. Easy to use. After about a year the unit just stopped working.My Energizer customer service experience was terrible. It was at the best of times difficult to understand the English they were using. In the end, they declined the warranty because I wasn't using Energizer batteries and I was charging batteries with more than 2,300 mAh. Try and find a C or D cell battery on Amazon that isn't considerably higher than 2,300. Note that some of the batteries I was charger were Amazon Basics batteries.Amazon customer service came through in an amazing way even though it was well past the Amazon return period. Thanks Amazon!I was a bit worried that it only 175 mAh, if it would last long in the guitar. I gave it shot and ordered, it has been in my acoustic for a couple of months now and hasn't asked for a recharge yet, so I would say it works well. But in honesty I don't use it a lot, just at times to use the onboard tuner on my guitar and I used it while trying to record the guitar but I didn't like the pickup sound a lot so I recorded anyway with the mic. Bottom line, works well with my guitar and doesn't drain quickly even if not used a lot. Hope it helps!
