I am so pleased with this charger. It charges multiple batteries that vary in sizes. I love the LED display that shows the charging level for each battery charged. It sure beats carrying 4 different battery chargers on vacation. Well worth the money! The charger has been great in charging my batteries quickly. No issues and operating it is easy. Please read till the end !I like this, I was expecting something different, tho this is ok with me.. I was expecting different readouts, tho what it does is it cycles back and forth from one side to the other so it's not a consistent view of both batteries at the same time.. tho that's ok.. I was hoping that the unit would help show the life of the battery when plugged in, tho it doesnt.. the unit needs to be plugged in to have it on and once you put the batteries in it starts to charge.. I'm using a AA nickel rechargeable batteries so I'm not sure what's the correct start of it, but I love the fact it shows how many mAh the battery is has and will be so I know I'm getting the full charge.. it also shows the power current that the batteries are being charged at.. I prefer the charge to be a low power recharge so as to prolong the batteries.. oh you could try to charge you batteries fast, tho I'd rather have them last. I also love the fact that the unit uses a usb plug to access power, so I use my cell phone charging block for access.. you can also plug it into anything that has a usb port that can give power.. shoot, I bet you could plug it into your smart tv and even if i use my usb port adapter from my phone i could use my cell phone to charge my batteries, tho it would kill my phone lol.. anyway, I just wanna say that I love this product and you should get it too.. I only charge AAs at this time, but that's all I need for now.. it's very small, compact and not heavy.. hope you enjoy this product tooThis DOTTMON LCD charger has four independent bays that I use for charging all my rechargeable AA and AAA batteries. I've already put a battery in backward by accident and the reverse polarity protection kicked in. Very nice. I love the way the LCDs indicate how much charging is left. When all is said and done the charger shuts off and waits until you pop your next battery in. What a great charger. Charges fast, but not so fast as to make your battery HOT HOT HOT. With a little practice you can easily release all four batteries at once by turning upside down and pulling on each individual battery release all at the same time. Don't know if I'd ever need to to that or that I'd be in that much of a rush, but I did check it out that you can do it that way. This is one of the easiest loading / unloading battery chargers I have ever owned.UPDATE: 6/17/2021 I had only intended to use this for AA/AAA batteries. I have a security flashlight that takes a slightly larger battery. I've been searching high and low for the charger cable to no avail. Well this DOTTMON charger takes on all of my stick batteries now. Including the 18650 battery that I am now charging in my DOTTMON charger. Would buy again and recommend to a friend. Was hesitant at first due to being a bit more, but this charger does a whole lot more. :)I definitely would buy this product again. It is easy to install the batteries, easy to decipher the readout, easy to see when items are charge. The only one downside is that there is no persistent indicator of charging/charged like most units have. Everything is on the central screen which goes dark after a few seconds and you have to press a button to relight the screen and see the status. This means you can't just glance at the thing from across the room to see if your batteries are charged or still charging. That part is a little annoying so I only gave this four stars. If it had a persistent indicator it would be a 5-star item easily. It charges the lightsaber batteries but the screen went out on its own and at an angel I can kinda see the screen. Batteries still charging for now. Kinda cheap feel to it. But it will charge vape and lightsaber batteries.Liked Versatility ! Disliked when placing batteries of any size sometimes they do NOT alien straight onThe product has a nice display and works as intended, but it has several downsides that are not present in other similar items in the same price range.First, the input power is hard wired into the device, if the cable gets damaged, be prepared to have to take the whole thing apart and probably solder on a new wire.Secondly, it doesn't come with a wall adapter. I didn't have a spare 2amp adapter lying around, and a new one will cost you 5-10 bucks. Finally, this device cannot tell you true capacity of the batteries. It can only tell you how much power it took to charge the battery. Since bad batteries take more power to charge up to full than healthy ones, this charger will report bad batteries as having a high capacity.I found a different device in the same price range that comes with a 3 amp wall adapter, and offers a discharge capacity test (charges to full, discharges and calculates capacity, and then charges the battery up again)
