Great in a lot of ways I wasn't used to, was bright enough to sight in my holographic. Sighted in my scope at the range in moderate daylight. I saw only the three batteries it needed no extras but they were just as bright both times I had it on for an hour or more better than getting two pair of batteries that might not work then having to buy more. Also it kept a very tight beam I spent another hour trying to get some pics of how small the beam was but it kept blowing out the area around it at 25' it was under 10mm I found that impressive. Best way Ive found to save you ammo while your getting your kit's d.o.p.e.'d in just wish I could find one of this quality for my 6.5 grendel and 6 ARC. UPDATE: Batteries still going strong using it in my 5.56 it's spot on and I let a friend use it in his 223wylde great for saving ammo (you'll want to keep) but also great for making my cat go crazy... its still soo bright...6starsDisappointed in the weak beam. Almost impossible to use. Opt for one with 4 batteriesHonestly surprised how well this worked. It was very accurate within about 40 yards. It's very bright and was able to see it just fine in broad daylight. Took me about 5 or so minutes to get my AR sighted in to hit groups within about an inch.. which is great considering I'm a bit of a beginner. Definitely recommend.Once batteries were inserted, laser shone brightly for less than a minute, then faded to a dim glow. Will not purchase from this seller againIt does not work. Batteries were dead.This product did exactly what I wanted to do. Built vary well. Love that if you Accidentally pull the trigger it will not hurt the product or the firearm. As you can see in the pic that's 15 to 20 yards was were I adjusted my scope. Was dead on. This bore sight is built with Quality. I would recommend this to anyone need to sight the firearm in.
