I have a small property, and it only takes me about 20 minutes to do my lawn. For this reason, I figured I was the ideal candidate for something like this, and I was right. After about 2 seconds worth of assembly, and leaving the batteries on a charger for one evening each, I fired this puppy up. It started immediately, and after my first pass, I had a huge smile on my face. It runs very smoothly, and feels like a quality piece of gear during operation. The motor must also have an electric brake on it, as it stops within a second of releasing the bail.At the time of that mowing, my grass was about 6 inches high, and desperately needed to be cut, but the mower cut it cleanly and effortlessly. The noise level on this compared to my 10yr old USA-made Craftsman 21" mower is astonishingly low, as you might imagine. I would suggest that it's at least 20dB lower. Naturally, there were zero fumes to content with. After I was done, I still had two out of the three power levels remaining, this is on the 2Ah batts.Handling on the unit was on par with my Craftsman, though it was slightly less agile when pivoting the unit on it's rear wheels, which are much larger than my Craftsman's. The only quibble that I might have with this unit, is that the blade is more rearward, as is the bag. I found myself kicking the bag now and then as I operated it, though I may just need to adjust the arm length on the unit. However, with the blade being slightly more rearward than my Craftsman, I also could not get as close to front edges that were close to a boundary of any sort (ie: garage wall, etc). Again, minor quibble, but just an objective assertion.Overall, I am very pleased with the unit thus far, especially its battery run time.
