Works well. Found this BP monitor is it to use and quite accurate would definitely recommendSeveral issues with this item. Cuff fills so much that it causes significant pain, takes a long time to populate results while enduring cuff pain and questionable accuracy.una buena compraMy mother in law recently dropped her old blood pressure machine because she has to plug it in and then continue to use it. Because of all that I decided to ensure she could have it stationary or portable at any given time. Made it easier and got her a USB plugin Blood Pressure machine that was really easy to use compared to the last one. The numbers are big so easy for her to read, she loves that. Also, the wrap around the arm is soft, so she also said that this was much more comfortable to use compared to any other machine she has used.I have had one opportunity to test the Afib detection, and it worked. I backed it up with 2 handheld EKG meters. I did not really need this capability, but it is nice to be able to check for Afib while doing something that I do every day. Increasing the accuracy requires 2-3 automatic measurements with 15 seconds between each. It seems very tedious. The only reading is at the end. It would be nice to see the intermediate readings. One other small annoyance is the size of the cuff. It is so long that fitting it is a minor pain. I think that two cuffs would have been better. The low price makes this a great buy.It worked great for the first month that I didn’t really use it but now that I get night palpitations, racing heart beats and spiking blood pressure and I actually need to use it, that’s why I bought it.. the thing pumps up extremely tight (my arm had red indents & my fingers felt like they were going to explode & my forearm was throbbing with my heartbeats) it was soooo TIGHT and then it slower than slowly counts all the way down without releasing the air out of the cuff then starts over and it won’t give me a reading!! I’ve tried taking out the batteries and resetting it, made my husband try it on 2nd user, tried everything and it does the same thing. Pumps up super tight, counts down like it’s about to release & give me my results but doesn’t, it just starts over.. over and over... with no reading. My arm looked like my stomach used to after I would take off my (way too tight) jeans after wearing them all day. Literal red indents after trying to simply take my blood pressure for 10 minutes. Why was my review hidden?Easy to use by yourself. Use it daily. It also detects a-fib and has BP check option for people with a-fib. Also indicates heart rate. Only thing I dont like is it does not auto shut off. Must remove battery if you want to shut off but then date and time dont save. Has option to plug in but does not come with cord.The biggest problem is the cuff that seems to curl at the "bottom" as I am trying to fit it into place. I have a large arm and it just is almost impossible to make it go on smoothly. Otherwise I think it is pretty accurate.
