This was my first headlamp purchase and I finally realized how convenient this is for many applications. I find the zoom function a little hard to adjust without using two hands but I do find this function useful. The tilt function really allows you to point the light on what you are focusing on. The light is bright but now crazy bright. It is pretty well put together and the straps are easy to adjust.This was purchased some years ago and I use it on many occasions when working on my vehicles. It makes a powerful light that is so necessary when leaning over the engine compartment.Vvery useful during power outages too!Talk about bright?! My husband and I have bought two of these and they are so good that we have now ordered two more. This way, we can have them for each car in case of an emergency at night. Oh, did you know that it has one function that makes this astoundingly bright light strobe, so that if you are trying to get help on a dark roadway, this will call attention to you? Trust me, if someone can't see this light from at least a mile away, that person needs to have their eyesight checked.Plastic is very cheap and delicate. where the head strap is held in place on the battery case, the clip broke without my knowledge or heavy use. used maybe twice, and then i noticed the top head strap was hanging off. used gorilla glue to lock it to the battery door - worked.Terrific for the money and wish it had a red led function as well. I'd give it 5 stars, but have only used for an hour and had it a week. ThanksPurchased an early example of this design and it really works, putting out a lot of light in a very useful package. Turns night into day! This is marked as a different seller but is the same design and even has an improved strength battery compartment and headband straps. All good!My son likes it so much. But the button has to be pressed hard to work. Otherwise, though you can hear the click, the light doesn't switch.Great light it is well made and bright i used it the other night to do a night job it was to fix an outdoor light fixture it held up and i will use it when i go camping. Walking in the woods to the dumpster cant leave your food out at night
