I ordered a really bright flashlight. It's still the best flashlight I could have gotten. It came with other stuff, including a battery charger for the lithium battery. The charger was the only thing wrong with the flashlight - poorly constructed and flaky. So I ordered this. I immediately charged all four lithium 3.7 volt batteries I have. The two battery sockets are TRULY independent from each other! You could, for example, put a lithium battery in one side and a Ni Cad battery in the other! It's more well-made than the one that came with my flashlight (and it actually works). I agree with another reviewer and love the fact that it has a power cord. It has two sets of blue LED indicators. After the thing gets done analyzing the battery, they start flashing sequentially from smallest to largest, indicating that the battery in that side is charging. As the battery gets charged, the smallest one stays on and only the other two flash. Then the middle one also stays on and only the largest one flashes. When the largest one (all three) stay(s) on, the battery is finished charging. It's a good thing when what you ordered arrives and you STILL think you chose the best one from the description and the reviews, and that's the case here! Unless it breaks tomorrow, it's great! It gets moderately warm on the electronics end. The instructions that come with it say something about if the light will not turn green, you may have dirty or corroded battery terminals. It's incorrect; the lights will never turn green at all. If they're all on, the battery is full. The instructions also say it's good for Ni Cad, Ni MH, and Lithium. I am currently charging some "hybrid" batteries (I think they must be NiMH - 1.2 volts in any case) and it's working perfectly. This is mentioned in the instructions, but info: It will charge one battery (in either side) faster than it will charge two. It puts out one amp total.
