I was surprised to find out that this fits my truck. On mopars website it said that this wouldn’t fit but after I asked my dealer about it they did some research and said it would fit. $40 cheaper (at the time) on amazon than what I would’ve had to pay the dealership and they couldn’t key it there but I didn’t mind taking it to a locksmith to get it keyed for a key I already have. It was only $20 for me and took about 10 minutes to get it done. The cap doesn’t seem like it’ll be like those other gas caps on YouTube were you can just squeeze the sides while you turn it left and it’ll pop off. I’ve tried it and feels pretty solid. Well see how it holds up in the future. When taking off the cap you do have to use both hands. One hand to hold the cap from turning and the other to insert the key and turn to the right. Then you turn the key back left so you can take the key out and put the cap back on easily. I don’t consider any of that a deal breaker for me.
