Bought this for my photo guest book for my December wedding. I was a bit skeptical about using the polaroids knowing how temperamental they are with lighting, and how expensive the film is. I tried ordering and using various bluetooth printers (such as Polaroid ZIP and HP Sprocket) to avoid having to use this and returned they all because of the really poor Apps needed to take the photos from your iOS or Android device. I could not be happier that I settled on this purchase! The photo guest book turned out exactly how i wanted and the photos came out pretty good. The room the photos were taken it was sort of dark but they still showed. The selfie lens on the front was helpful but mostly people asked other guests to take their picture from further away. We ended up then taking this on our honeymoon and got some really cool pictures. Some were sort of faded looking because of being backlit but considering they are polaroids it gave them that really authentic vintage look. For every cartridge of 10, we only got maybe 4 good pictures on the honeymoon because of the sun making the object we wanted to photograph backlit so just know its a bit of an art / science to figure out what lighting is best.Okay so let's start out with the good before the bad. Mostly all photos turn out really really good! I got this as a Christmas gift and personally I love it a lot. It works great and is easy and a fun way to create memories. Everything was included, and I love having the case to carry around. There is a wrist strap to hold onto the camera easier that is included. The camera itself came in great condition too and I love the little mirror on the front, it helps with getting good selfies and group shots! I've only taken inside photos so far, so I'll update this review when I get some outside photos. Now, for the negatives: this camera is very hard to focus and catch photos, because the eyehole is so so small and almost impossible to see through. You have to look with your right eye for the vertical shots, and you can turn it to take horizontal photos and it's easier to see out of it then, but then you have the terrible positioning of the shutter release and you have you grip the camera from the top. I've taken photos my entire life, but the polaroid was new to me. It's very very hard to get the lighting right because there is a flash on this camera that you can't turn off no matter where you are, so some photos come out insanely under exposed while others come out overly exposed and focus lacks. I feel like with a lot more practice maybe these problems won't be as obvious, but for beginners, just be aware of that. Below I've posted photos (good and bad), as well as the camera. Hope this helps :)I got it as an early Christmas present and I’ve had a lot of fun so far using it. It’s a great deal for the film as the individual packs can be kind of pricey on their own. It’s really easy to use, especially for people who don’t have any experience with instant photography. It’s sometimes hard to get the exposure/brightness just right but I think that mainly comes down to light quality in my apartment and a lack of experience. As someone a bit young to have ever really used a Polaroid or similar camera, it is very fun to experience the film develop right before your eyes. Would absolutely recommend.I couldn't believe I was able to get the camera, camera case, six batteries, lens clothe, and four packs of twenty films for the same price that I found other sites were selling for the camera alone! I made photo scrapbook for my boss who was leaving to start her own jewelry business. I went around taking pictures and having them tape them to a scrapbook; they wrote a message next to their picture. Everyone that I took a picture of asked me where I got the camera because they loved it. They were also impressed by how good the pictures turn out. When my boss got her scrapbook, she was so happy she started crying; which isn't easy to get her to do! I got this idea from my sister who recently got married. She had a camera and lots of film for the wedding guests to write messages to the bride and groom. There are endless opportunities to use the camera and create scrapbooks / photo albums of life's events.I have had this camera for 3 years now and it still works great. I have a hard time adjusting to the lighting sometimes but that’s my own fault. My boyfriend does it perfectly every time and the photos turn out great. Since the packs of film can get expensive, this is a great first buy. There are probably a ton of digital cameras that have much better quality for the price. However, I thought this instant camera would be neat to try out. I received it just before going on a trip and we got some great pictures at the beach and throughout the town. I discovered that it is best for close(r) proximity and must be used on the appropriate setting. We took about 40 photos in all and put them in a photo book. I was happy with most of the pictures although a couple were washed out or dark. This is a cool camera to have around and having the instant gratification on photo is nice. The quality that you give up for the convenience is worth it in certain situations. I have seen other reviews that mention using them for various events and I can see why. I wish that we would've thought to bring it to a Halloween party recently. I would recommend this product.I was a little scared of buying this camera since I saw a couple of reviews saying it doesn't work well and the pictures came out black but that didn't happened to me! The first picture came out perfect and I tried many places at home that were darker or brighter and I even took pictures outside and every single one came out PERFECT! I took pictures at different times in the day and inside the house, I believe it just a matter of figuring out the settings so your pictures don't come out too dark/light. I don't share pictures because my family were my models but this camera its a must have!!!
