The fuel pump arrived quickly and I inspected it thoroughly; it appears identical to the OEM part. Installation went very smoothly, even though dropping the tank and reinstalling it is a little difficult, especially without help .Thankfully, there were no unpleasant surprises during the installation and upon finishing the installation, my Jeep started immediately with NO long crank times as in the past. The symptoms of the defective fuel pump problem in the past had been: (1) no fuel pressure when the ignition switch was turned on, but once the engine began to crank the fuel pressure would go up gradually and the engine would start, and hold pressure at about 40 psi. With a good fuel pump, normal fuel pressure will be present as soon as the ignition is turned "on." (2) normally, with a good pump, when the engine ignition turned off the fuel pump should hold fuel pressure for 15--30 minutes, but gradually falling to zero. However, my old pump allowed the fuel pressure to fall to zero immediately as soon as the ignition was switched to "off." (3) With the old pump, the engine started fine on a first-start, when it was cold, but had very long crank times before starting after the engine was warm/hot. Now, with the new pump, the engine starts within one engine cycle each and every time. I just hope that my confidence in a made-in-the-USA part pays off.Update 7/27/15: The Amazon product information near the product photo indicates this product has a lifetime warranty, however APDTY (seller) product information indicates there is only a 12 month warranty. Nevertheless, the reality is that the warranty is for 12 months.Update 01/18/16: This fuel pump has performed flawlessly. My Jeep starts immediately every time, time after time--even better than it ever has prior to replacing the fuel pump. I discovered that the pump I replaced was a re-built Mopar pump, but it had always performed poorly with long crank times before starting. Now, thanks to the new APDTY pump, my Jeep is a joy once more and I have confidence that it will start in hot or cold conditions. I recommend this APDTY fuel pump to anyone needing a new pump.
