I mean they’re batteries? They came in a clear plastic cling hard plastic wrap instead of an actual packaging, which doesn’t matter but ??♀️I bought them for my baby’s swing and funds were limited, so the price was definitely right for me.The batteries worked and put off power strongly, but died pretty quick. I had to change them like every other day, and I didn’t use the swing that much but they worked for when I did use the swing and that’s what matters I guess.Cheapest so far that I could find. I have no preference or an ideal battery brand to get my battery operating stuff to work. I usually go for the most reasonably priced (cheapest) battery. As for 9V batteries, my only use for this is for smoke detectors. I have several in the house that I need spare batteries otherwise will develop a headache from the annoying chirps when the battery fails on a smoke detector. I do apologize if this review will not give anyone a sense of reassurance as far as this particular product is concerned. I'm honestly just giving my rating as how I see this fit to my needs at the moment.Bought specifically to use for starting fires with steel wool as part of a survival course I was taking. Absolutely could not get steel wool to take a spark. I mentioned I was having issues to the instructor - a prior special operations guy with multiple deployments in austere environments, and several hundred sessions of this training curriculum under his belt - he saw I was using Rayovac batteries and immediately handed me a coppertop out of his own kit, which worked instantly and flawlessly. He said nearly every class, at least one person brings Rayovac batteries, and he's never had them work. I tried all six with equal dismal results. His used coppertop started six fires for me over 18 hours and was still going strong, he said he's had the same battery in his pack for over a month, and has loaned it out to students who brought these garbage Rayovacs on a near-weekly basis for the same period...and it still works. To be a bit more technical and subjective: creating a spark in steel wool requires high enough amperage to essentially overheat and melt a filament of steel. This amperage requirement isn't exceptionally high when using ultra-fine steel wool. Something more common that will require a relatively high amperage output from these batteries is your smoke detector sounding an alarm. These will presumably work great to make the "I'm ok" light blink red every couple seconds to tell you there's battery, but as soon as an alarm is triggered, this battery is going to fall short. Which may mean a slightly less loud alarm, or it may mean no alarm at all. Is your safety, or that of your family worth saving a few bucks?I'll never buy them again, for any purpose. You be the judge. These batteries came packaged within a plastic over casing and housed a quantity of eight, 9 volt, batteries within it. I received these batteries within 2 days, as I am an Amazon Prime member. I was concerned about the effectiveness of these batteries since it was an off brand name of which I have never heard of before. Yet, thus far, only about two months, these batteries seem to be effectively working and keeping the fire alarms active and silent from identifying low battery. I feel for the price and quality, I will continue using these batteries, that is, if they last awhile, like a year, at keeping my fire alarms within my home actively working effeciently.Great for the smoke detector. Didn't last long in my scale.OMG, these are fantastic. Although they don't list them as LiPoly or L-Ion or anything such, they are at least half the weight of normal D cells, so... you be the judge? They last for-friggin-ever, half the weight, just above and beyond anything I would have hoped for. I was looking for L-ion D cells and these are my new favorites. Ray-o-vac. Who would have thought. I was an Energizer and Duracell snob but I guess you have to try alternatives now and again to find gems like this!Brought this to replace the battery of the smoke detectors. Work as expected, I read some reviews said the battery life are not good. But you got what you paid for, with this price, I am OK to replace it more frequently.A good value for the money. I can't say much because they are in my smoke detectors. The worst batteries of all time. I used them for about a week 2-3 hours a day with low voltage LED fairy lights. Deader than dead. The WORST.not sure how long they will last but this is good little set of batteries to give along with a toy that needs batteries. It’s goodGreat!
