Initial impression is that of a good value. For 30 dollars it pretty much is exactly what I expected. Mounted on my D7200 it fits pretty well with a slight gap. The plastic, wheels and buttons all feel low grade compared to the Nikon body. However, they all function. They joystick on mine is angled a little off but usable. I would never compare this to the Nikon grip, it doesn't hold a candle to it. However, this is 30 dollars and for that price it is a win. It gives me an extra battery, a usable vertical grip and the option of AA battery for backup. Great value just don't expect the same build as a Nikon product which demands a price tag near 8 times this.
